Our experience in servicing the elevator sector at local and international levels has provided us with an understanding of the requirements of the industry; that the quality and design of the elevator car need to compliment the building design, the consideration of diverse passenger types and its context of use. Additionally, elevator car interiors need to be bright and utilise materials that are recyclable, durable, easy-to-clean and safe.

The diverse range of products and processes that Rimex offers, gives consultants and architects a vast pallet of choices. This ranges from the durable patterned finishes to the flat surface finishes with a choice of either hairline, satin, mirror and SuperMirror polishes, Granex™ and Vortex™ finishes on natural stainless steel. This can also be applied to coloured stainless steel. All of these treatments can be combined and further processes applied with our range of patterned or MetalArt™ finishes for areas that include the following:

The Elevator Sector is increasingly using a wider range of grades of stainless steel. Rimex has adapted to this customer requirement and supplies most products in various stainless-steel grade options. These include 304/1.4301, 316/1.4401 and other 300 series austenitic stainless-steel grades; and ferritic grades from the 200 and 400 series stainless steels.
